Understanding Positive Behaviour Support

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a vital service, but it can feel complex – especially if you’re new to the NDIS. So, how does it help?

To make it simpler, here are some of the practical ways the Outcomes Connect team supports participants:

1. Behaviour Needs Assessments

When challenging behaviours are present, but behaviour support funding isn’t yet in place, we can help. Our Behaviour Needs Assessments provide evidence that may support funding applications in the future.

2. Behaviour Support Plans

For participants experiencing challenging behaviours or restrictive practices, we create high-quality behaviour support plans. These plans:

  • Uphold the human rights of NDIS participants
  • Help understand specific behaviours
  • Aim to reduce or eliminate restrictive practices

3. Behaviour Support Implementation

This is where the plans turn into action. Our team works closely with a participant’s support network to bring their behaviour support plan to life. With our experience and expertise, we strive to create real, meaningful change for every participant we support.

At Outcomes Connect, we’re here to simplify the PBS journey and make a positive impact. If you have any questions about PBS or how we can help, don’t hesitate to reach out to on 0447 163 732 or info@outcomesconnect.com.au.
